Recipe Wednesday

It's pasta day!! Darla and I decided to share some pasta recipes today, and then we remembered Cynthia had posted a fabulous cheesy bread recipe that would go perfect with both. So, visit Darla for another pasta recipe, Cynthia for the cheesy bread, add some salad if you're feeling healthy, and go to town!!!


1/4# Mild Italian Sausage
1/4# Cooked Ham, thinly sliced
8 oz Spaghetti
3 Eggs, well beaten
1/2 c Grated Parmesan Cheese
Fresh Garlic, to taste

Remove casings from sausages, and crumble or chop meat. Brown sausage, and add ham and garlic. Cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain. Add spaghetti to hot meat mixture, at once pour in eggs and quickly lift and mix spaghetti to coat well with eggs. Sprinkle in the cheese, add pepper to taste, and mix again. If you are feeling extra sinful, you can add a bit of cream as well.

Serve with grated Parmesan cheese for garnish.

This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, or more when you've got a crowd!

Okay... we no I'm quirky about eggs but I trust you ... will have to try this as soon as I'm better....
